We're sorry to see you go. This page explains how to delete your account and what that process involves.

How to Delete Your Account

You have two options to delete your account. You can delete it instantly within the app, or you can contact our support team via email.

Option 1: Instant Deletion In-App (Recommended)

For immediate account removal, you can use the self-service option directly in the JedApp application.

  1. Open the JedApp on your mobile device.
  2. Navigate to the 'Account' or 'Profile' section.
  3. Find and select the 'Delete Account' option.
  4. Follow the on-screen prompts to confirm the deletion.

This action is permanent and will instantly remove the personal data mentioned below.

Option 2: Deletion via Email

If you cannot access the app or prefer assistance, you can request deletion by contacting our support team.

Please send an email with the subject 'Account Deletion Request' and include your registered email address. Our support team will process your request within 7 business days.

The Deletion Process Explained

When a deletion request is received and processed, we permanently remove your personal identifiers (first name, last name, phone number, and email) and uploaded documents. Remaining data is anonymized so it cannot be traced back to you.

What We Delete

Upon a successful deletion request, we will permanently remove the following personally identifiable information:

  • First Name
  • Last Name
  • Phone Number
  • Email Address
  • Uploaded academic and personal documents
  • Other personally identifiable information

What We Retain (Anonymized)

To maintain the integrity of our historical application statistics and for compliance purposes, we retain a minimal amount of anonymized data that cannot be used to identify you:

  • Non-identifiable metadata such as anonymized application statistics
  • User ID (anonymized)
  • Audit logs for legal compliance (if required)
